The Harford County Council of Parent Teacher Association serves 45 local PT(S)As and their nearly 40,000 students and families, public school teachers, and those in the community who, through advocacy, support the mission of PTA:
-
to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;

to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect children;

and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of the nation.
